If you have any questions or thoughts regarding content in the book, please feel free to post them here. I try to find some time to periodically check this blog and answer as many questions as I can.

If you like the book and learn from it, please tell others about it and review the book at any of the seller's websites. I appreciate all comments good and bad, but of course I prefer the good ones.

Thanks
Stephen

Major Thirteen Arpeggio Using Hammers and Pulls

This example will utilize sweep picking, hammer-ons and pull-offs to execute an arpeggio passage. These types of examples are covered extensively in the book.

While acending the passage sweep down with the pick adding in the hammer-ons and to descend sweep up with the pick adding in the pull-offs.

The challenge is syncronizing the hammer-ons and pull-offs with the sweep so that it sounds smooth and even.

Also incorporate some palm muting so that the notes are cleanly separated.

Here is the form in G:

---------------------3h7--3-------------------
-------------------5--------5-----------------
--------------4h7-------------7p4-------------
---------4h5-----------------------5p4--------
-------5--------------------------------5-----
--3h7-------------------------------------7p3-

Of course start slowly and work up the speed using a metronome while practicing.
